How can we help you?
At IECG, we pride ourselves on our ability to consistently deliver professional building envelope consulting services that lead to factual data and accurate results.
Why Hire a Commercial Roof inspector?
It is recommended that a commercial roof inspection be performed twice a year and after every storm or severe weather event. An expert should be consulted before performing any roof investigations or testing.
Weather Damage
Often times, severe weather events like tornados, hail and high winds can cause damage that is not visible at first. Our trained experts are highly skilled at using advanced technology to identify the earliest signs of damage.
Annual Inspections
A commercial roof inspection should take place every spring and fall to help prevent possible damage from upcoming severe weather seasons. Annual inspections also provide a timeline of the roof condition in case of a future dispute.
Dispute Resolution
In the event of an insurance claim dispute, IECG can provide you with an unbiased, third-party report that includes highly detailed information such as recommendations for repair, replacement advice, project timelines and estimates.
Our Services
If you are a business owner, property manager, policy holder or insurance adjuster, it is crucial that you address all types of storm damage as quickly as possible. Contact us today to figure out what services are right for you.
01.
Commercial Roof Inspection
Whether it’s an existing roof or a roof in planning, the design and application of roof systems should adhere to national and local building codes for proper roof performance and Public Safety. Also, commercial roof inspections should be conducted annually.
02.
Infrared Moisture Analysis
When performing a commercial roof inspection, IECG often uses moisture surveys to determine the extent to which moisture has damaged the roof system. IECG uses Flir Thermal Image cameras to locate areas of moisture that might be trapped within the roof.
03.
Building Envelope Consulting
Our building envelope consultants diagnose problems and develop solutions that increase the lifespan and performance of your building, while conforming to your budget requirements and reducing the risk of future loss.
04.
Wind Uplift Test
The result of a Wind Uplift Test provides insight to estimate the structural resistance of a roofing system and ensures it meets wind load requirements. It also helps to identify weaknesses in the roofing system.
05.
Forensic testing
IECG uses destructive and nondestructive testing methods combined with in depth surveys and roof assembly documentation to provide clients with a detailed analysis of the roof system’s condition.
06.
Dec Scanning
The scanner provides our consultants with instantaneous information as well as a recorded moisture map that enables our consultants to detect design inadequacies and accurately diagnose the results.
Why We Use RoofLogic
For all of our reports, we partner exclusively with RoofLogic. This allows us to provide our clients with a personalized roof CAD (blueprint) that details all of our experts’ findings in the most efficient, organized way possible. Below is a video that briefly explains the benefits that RoofLogic provides for IECG and our clients.
Our Working Process
Consultation
We work with you to create a plan to inspect, investigate and evaluate your property. We review recent local weather events and discuss how these conditions may have impacted your property.
Assessment
Our team uses advanced technology such as wind uplift tests, drones and infrared cameras to accurately assess your roof’s current condition. We then record all of our findings in an organized and systematic manner.
Reporting
We create custom reports that accurately and honestly detail all of our findings. Clients can view a personalized roof CAD (blueprint) that provides photos of roof damage, recommendations for repair and replacement advice.
Estimate
After generating a report, our experts will create an in-depth estimate that gives a budget forecast for all repair and/or replacement costs.
